Most Powerful Women Still Dealing With Appearance Critiques

care2.com – OK, this is just getting exhausting. A woman cannot be praised or given credit for her achievements without some type of focus on her looks.

This happens every day, but a more prominent example is when Forbes released its annual list of the world’s most powerful women. There are 100 international women who made the list, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel topping the list for the sixth year in a row.

Forbes chooses its list based on four key metrics: money, media presence, spheres of influence and impact. Other notable women who made the list include Hillary Clinton, Sheryl Sandberg, Michelle Obama, Queen Elizabeth II, Oprah Winfrey and Margaret Chan.
